Founding Vision and Development of Razi e.V.
The idea to establish the association Razi e.V. emerged around 2006, driven by various needs within the framework of a psychosomatic project that aimed to foster cooperation between German and Iranian universities. The main focus was to promote scientific exchange and professional collaboration in the fields of psychosomatics and psychotherapy.

These early projects laid the foundation for long-term cooperation and contributed to the introduction and dissemination of new psychotherapeutic approaches in Iran. Numerous research initiatives, exchange programs, and professional networks developed through these collaborations.

Over time, new board members joined the association, bringing in their own expertise and resources. As a result, additional thematic areas evolved, such as transcultural psychotherapy and psychiatry, addiction treatment, imaginative methods, clinical hypnosis, Balint group work, and many others. These topics became the foundation for a wide range of events, workshops, and international congresses.

At the same time, these activities created opportunities for enriching travel experiences and personal encounters, particularly in Iran, which helped shape the intercultural identity of the association.

Throughout the years, a variety of projects emerged—driven by the interests of the members—in the fields of psychology, psychosomatics, education, and social work. Many of these initiatives were independently developed, supported, or initiated under the umbrella of Razi e.V.

The association takes pride in having been the catalyst for many of these developments and in having created a platform for scientific and cultural exchange over the years.
